The New York Photo Awards 2010 (NYPH'10) will once again honor talented photographers from all over the world whose exceptional work breaks new ground visually, intellectually, and aesthetically. The Awards will give these visual artists the opportunity to reach key decision makers in the photographic community and the editorial, fine art, and commercial worlds.
Submissions will be accepted until April 30, 2010.The Award winners will be announced in May during the third edition of the New York Photo Festival.
The New York Photo Awards Ceremony is scheduled to return to St. Ann's Warehouse on Friday, May 14, 2010, starting at 8pm. The work of the Award Winners and Honorable Mentions will be presented on the big screen before a packed audience of industry luminaries. Twelve major awards will be publicly presented to the Award Winners, and 24 artists will receive Honorable Mention certificates.
All Award Winners and Honorable Mentions will enjoy unprecedented visibility for their work. In addition to the New York Photo Awards ceremony, and an online feature presentation on the New York Photo Festival website, their work will be showcased in a group exhibition during next year's edition of the New York Photo Festival.
All winning entries will also be automatically eligible for inclusion in the beautifully produced New York Photo Awards 2010 Annual, available later this year via the New York Photo Festival website and select bookstores everywhere.
SUBMISSIONS: Only works produced or published between January 1, 2009 and April 30, 2010 are eligible for submission.
